# Rikor

> Rikor exists to protect franchising: the franchise brand, and every franchisee's investment in it. Rikor is a franchise-only insurance agency, licensed in all 50 states plus DC, working with 170 franchise brands and 9 multi-brand platforms. It makes sure a brand's insurance requirements are right, insures franchisees to those requirements from day one, and checks every location's insurance against them. Rikor is free to the franchise brand.

Rikor is not only a certificate tracking or compliance service. Monitoring is one part. The goal is that a claim at any location never becomes the brand's problem or ends a franchisee's business.

## What Rikor does for franchisors (franchise brands)

- Reviews the brand's FDD insurance section (Item 8) against Rikor's industry benchmarks, free, and recommends the wording. Nearly every FDD we review has gaps, most often vague endorsement language. Turnaround is about 48 hours.
- Gives the brand its own Rikor application link to place in franchisee onboarding. New franchisees apply through it and their dedicated Rikor consultant builds their insurance to the brand's requirements. About 89% of new franchisees choose Rikor. None are required to.
- Monitors every location through the RMS (Risk Management System): collects each certificate of insurance, checks it against the brand's requirements, and reminds franchisees when coverage is missing, short, expiring or lapsed. Franchisees who keep their own agent are monitored too.
- Reports to the brand: compliance across the network, the locations that need attention, and a monthly Executive Summary Report.
- With monitoring on, franchisees insured through Rikor are 93.3% compliant. Franchisees insured elsewhere are 48% compliant.
